Summary

Within the mission, vision and values of the المملكة العربية السعوديةn Ministry of National Guard - Health Affairs, the physician is responsible for performing procedural and consultative duties as assigned by the Department Chairman.

Education/Qualifications Required:

1. Basic medical degree from a recognized institution.
2. Post qualification certification
   • Qualification source from North America, Western Europe, أستراليا, or نيوزيلندا.
     • USA: The American Board of Pediatric Cardiology.
     • كندا: Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certificate (FRCPC - Pediatric Cardiology).
     • UK and أيرلندا: CCT/CCST Specialist Register - Pediatric Cardiology.
     • أستراليا and نيوزيلندا: Fellowship from the Royal College (FRACP - Pediatric Cardiology).
     • Western Europe: Equivalent certification to the above.

Experience Post Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years after board/equivalent certification in USA, كندا, أيرلندا, UK, أستراليا, نيوزيلندا, and فرنسا (DES).
• Minimum five (5) years after board/equivalent certification in إسبانيا, ألمانيا, إيطاليا, البرتغال, بلجيكا, الدنمارك, السويد, سويسرا, النرويج, النمسا, هولندا, اليونان, and فرنسا (DIS).

License:

• Current and in a Good Standing Medical License to practice in الدولة of residence.
• Current BLS/ACLS Certificate.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reporting Pediatric Cardiology and/or NM exams according to the individual's qualification, privileges, and subspecialty.
• Adhere to the department's turnaround time for reporting assigned exams.
• Carry out on calls as required by the department.
• Actively participate in QI activities.
• Report any violations of the department's rules and regulations to the Chairman.
• Participate in the hospital's formal education program.
• Participate in training residents, audit their work, and encourage them to produce research work and publications.
• Participate in the department's educational activities.
• Serve in hospital committees as appointed by the Chairman or Hospital Director.
