Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Hands-on technical proficiency in GCP security services (IAM, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor, Security Command Center, KMS, DLP, Audit Logs).
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform for managing GCP resources and security configurations.
• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/GKE) security best practices.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) for automation and security tooling.
• Solid grasp of network security principles, web application security (OWASP Top 10), and API security.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating security tools into the development workflow (e.g., SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST CSF, CIS Benchmarks, ISO
Candidate needs to have Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification, or equivalent.
