The Facility Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of non-clinical facilities operations, including environmental services, maintenance, housekeeping, transportation coordination, and support services. You will monitor facility conditions, ensure adherence to safety and infection control standards, and support regulatory readiness. Responsibilities include coordinating preventive maintenance, supervising front-line supervisors, and ensuring adequate staffing and training for frontline teams. You'll collaborate with clinical leadership to optimize space utilization, assist with move-ins/move-outs, and support discharge planning logistics. You'll manage vendor relationships, contract compliance, and procurement for essential services, while controlling costs and maintaining asset inventory. The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong organizational skills, and a customer-service orientation to residents, families, and staff. Data-driven decision making, incident reporting, and continuous improvement activities will be central to maintaining a safe, efficient, and resident-centered facility environment.

Educations and Certificates:

• Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, health administration, or a related field

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of facility operations experience in healthcare or similar settings; prior supervisory experience is recommended.
• Familiarity with environmental services, maintenance, housekeeping, and basic safety programs in licensed facilities.

• Knowledge of healthcare facility regulations, safety, and infection control standards.
• Basic budgeting and cost-control skills; ability to manage vendor contracts and procurement.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
• People management: supervision, coaching, and performance monitoring.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Proficiency with facility management software, work order systems, and data tracking.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• LANGUAGE
• Proficiency in written, read and spoken Arabic and English languages.
• ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (But not limited to)

• Oversee daily non-clinical facility operations to ensure a safe, clean, and compliant environment.
• Supervise environmental services, maintenance, housekeeping, and transportation support; ensure coverage and staffing efficiency.
• Monitor safety, infection control, and housekeeping standards; lead to safety drills as required.
• Coordinate with clinical leadership on patient flow, move-ins/outs, and space utilization.
• Manage small capital projects, preventive maintenance schedules, and asset management.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and support internal/external audits; maintain documentation.
• Manage vendor relationships, service contracts, and procurement within budget.
• Foster a positive environment for residents, families, and staff; address concerns promptly.
• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct supervision of frontline supervisors; assist with scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
• Conduct regular facility inspections; oversee repairs, safety improvements, and housekeeping quality.
• Maintain facility grounds, equipment, and utilities; coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Track inventory of supplies and equipment; manage ordering and storage efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards, coordinate incident reporting and corrective actions.
• Support transportation coordination for residents as needed; assist with logistics for events and activities.
• Prepare reports on facility operations, occupancy-related needs, and maintenance requests.
• Assist with budget monitoring, cost control, and waste reduction initiatives.
