Role Description
Design and support the organization’s cybersecurity architecture, implement and review security controls, and ensure compliance with SAMA cybersecurity requirements. The role also supports technical teams in applying security policies to safeguard systems and data.
Key Responsibilities
Design and review internal security architecture
Implement security baselines and system hardening practices
Support security reviews for new IT and digital projects
Ensure compliance with SAMA Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
Document security procedures, standards, and controls
Recommend improvements and new security solutions
Provide technical support to cybersecurity and IT teams (SOC, Analysts, Specialists)
Assist in handling security incidents and escalate complex cases
Review and update security policies and procedures regularly
Monitor and ensure proper implementation of security tools and controls
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity
1–2 years of experience in cybersecurity or networking
Basic knowledge of security architecture, network security, and security tools
Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (preferably SAMA CSF)
Preferred
Certifications such as Security+, Network+, or CCNA
Knowledge of Cloud Security and DevSecOps concepts
Experience in financial or banking environments
