Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree and valid teaching certificate (North American or equivalent certification)
• Certification in subject area and/or grade level is required
• Master's degree in Education or related field preferred
• A proven record of excellence in prior teaching posts for a minimum of two years (full time, K-12 teaching)
• Expertise in subject matter
• Fluency in English
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Terms of Employment and Additional Responsibilities

Salary is assigned from the Faculty salary schedule; the contract term is 190 days. Compensation will be determined based on the established Faculty salary schedule.

Contractual hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (5:00 pm on Tuesdays)

Faculty are expected to fulfill duties that extend beyond the school day, including commitments to after-school activities (ASAs), after-school learning (ASL), and coaching (requirement for Physical Education teachers).

Learning and Growth: Performance is appraised through the AIS R Professional Growth and Evaluation framework and in accordance with school policy by the designated Supervisor.
