Technical Requirements

  • Knowledge and basic understanding of networking and operating systems
  • Familiarity with security concepts (Authentication and authorization)
  • Understanding of log monitoring and alerts tools
  • Familiarity with machine learning foundations
  • Familiarity with Prompt Engineering & Agentic AI
  • Knowledge and basic understanding of Cloud
  • Familiar with Secure Email Gateways, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to prevent email spoofing and phishing
  • Understand web filtering tools, URL filtering, and secure web gateways to block access to malicious websites
  • Knowledge and basic understanding of secure web gateways, URL filtering, and SSL decryption to prevent access to malicious websites and protect users
  • Familiar with Secure DNS, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and wireless security controls
  • Understands phishing, malware, and ransomware attack vectors
  • Collaborates with SOC teams to triage incidents, analyze alerts, and apply defensive controls
Skills Required
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Proactive and self-driven approach to continuous learning, staying up to date with evolving threats and security technologies
Certification Required
  • COBIT 5 Fundamental (Preferred)
  • CompTIA Security+ (Preferred)
  • Certified AI Security Professional (CAISP) (Preferred)
  • CEH – Certified Ethical Hacker (Preferred)
  • SANS301 and/or SANS401 or equivalent (Preferred)
  • GIAC Machine Learning Engineer (Preferred)
Preferred Major
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering
GPA Scale
  • 4 Scale GPA: Minimum 3 or less with related experience
  • 5 Scale GPA: Minimum 4 or less with related experience
Work Experience
  • 0-3 years or more
