Financial Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
Record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
Preparation of Financial Statements:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies
Reconciliations:
Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations
Identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
Supporting Audits:
Prepare financial documentation for audits
Assist in the coordination of external audits
Budget Monitoring:
Assist in budget preparation and monitoring expenditures
Provide variance reports to management
Compliance:

Accounting Software:
Utilize accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) for transactions and reporting
Assist in implementing new financial software solutions

Requirements
Educational Background
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional Experience
1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
Technical Skills
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite
Strong Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis functions
Certifications
ZAT or IFRS other relevant certification is a plus but not required
Core Competencies
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in a team and independently
Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
