Job Overview

Skilled structural mechanic required to perform Planned Maintenance Interval Inspections, organizational, intermediate, and depot level maintenance on H 60 helicopters. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, testing, inspections, and repairs of hydraulic components, flight controls, pumps, landing gear, tires, pneumatic, rigging, and pressurized systems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repair of major assemblies and subassemblies, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and related systems.
  • Conduct inspection, troubleshooting, fault detection, fault isolation, and appropriate corrective actions on hydraulic components and related systems.
  • Maintain all maintenance documentation, applicable forms, records, and reports using appropriate references and publications, including the NAMP.
  • Operate and maintain all applicable ground support equipment.
  • Identify, use, and maintain all common, special, and precision tools available for power plant maintenance and repair.
  • Provide on the job training (OJT) for Saudi technicians and other personnel, maintaining appropriate training records.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of experience performing complex helicopter sheet metal, structures, and mechanical work, including inspection, assembly/disassembly, repair, replacement, rig checks, and testing of hydraulic components.
  • Experience in installing, adjusting, aligning, and performing functional/operational tests on major aircraft systems and assemblies, such as hydraulic servos, pumps, main/tail rotor blades, and flight control systems.
  • Proficiency in disassembling and reassembling components/sub systems, determining required repairs, and completing check out procedures.
  • Ability to visually inspect components for corrosion, wear, and adjustments.
  • Skill in using precision measuring instruments, special tools, scales, test stands, and external power sources.
  • Capability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Required certification: QAR/CDQAR or A&P or military equivalent such as Army 15G Technical Inspector, Air Force 2A773, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Qualified aircraft paint and finish.
  • Navy Aviation Structural Mechanic AM HSM HSC, Army 15G, Air Force 2A773 HH 60, or equivalent military MOS.
Clearance Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a NAC(T3) background investigation and drug test.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
  • May be required to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
Physical and Mental Demands
  • Must walk and stand on level and/or inclined surfaces for periods during the day.
  • Must climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.
  • May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must distinguish color and judge three dimensional depth.

Estimated salary: $115K. Compensation may vary based on responsibilities, experience, and market factors.
