Senior Electrical Engineer - Design

JASARA PMC is on the lookout for a Senior Electrical Engineer specializing in Design to join our innovative engineering team. This role involves leading the design process for electrical systems in various projects, ensuring optimal performance, compliance with standards, and adherence to project timelines and budgets. Your expertise will be crucial in driving the success of our design initiatives while fostering a collaborative atmosphere within the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
• Develop and review design documentation, specifications, and drawings throughout all project stages.
• Conduct load calculations, system analyses, and fault studies to verify system performance.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and best practices in all design deliverables.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance where necessary.
• Act as a primary point of contact for technical discussions with clients and stakeholders.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in electrical engineering design.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical design engineering, preferably in infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design software and tools.
• Proven experience in creating detailed electrical design documentation.
• Solid understanding of relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
• Project management experience is a plus.
