Duties & Responsibilities:

• Identify warranty opportunities from defects, removals, shop findings, teardown reports, and supplier performance trends, ensuring early capture of recoverable events.
• Prepare, submit, and track warranty claims in accordance with OEM and supplier requirements, ensuring claim cycle time targets and documentation standards are met.
• Ensure claims are submitted within contractual timelines and supported by audit ready, complete technical and commercial documentation.
• Monitor claim status, follow up with OEMs and vendors, and support resolution and closure while tracking responsiveness and supplier recovery performance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, and Technical Records to collect:
• Defect reports and troubleshooting data
• Removal and installation records
• Shop visit findings and teardown reports
• Component traceability and certification documents
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of warranty claim packages using standardized templates and traceability requirements aligned with contract terms.
• Maintain accurate digital records of claims, recoveries, rejections, and pending cases, ensuring organized documentation for audits and financial reconciliation.
• Support warranty dashboards and reports including recovery value, cycle times, supplier performance ratings, and recurring failure indicators.
• Highlight recurring defects or systemic issues to Engineering and Reliability, providing data-driven insights to support corrective action and supplier escalation.
• Act as the focal point for routine warranty communication with OEMs, repair vendors, and suppliers, ensuring clear technical justification and timely evidence submission.
• Escalate delayed, disputed, or rejected claims to the Contract & Warranty Manager with root cause detail, supplier history, and recommended recovery actions.
• Ensure warranty processes align with contractual terms, Engineering procedures, and audit requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing structured warranty records, evidence packs, supplier responses, and documentation trails.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, claim rejection patterns, and opportunities to strengthen recovery rates.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by line manager or Head of the Department.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering
• Technical training related to aircraft, engines, or components is an advantage.
• Minimum 3 6 years experience in an airline, CAMO, or MRO environment.
• Practical experience in warranty handling, technical records, maintenance support, or engineering support roles.
• Familiarity with OEM warranty processes and documentation requirements.
• Experience working with AMOS is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline with ability to maintain audit ready and contract compliant evidence.
• Good technical understanding of aircraft systems and component lifecycles.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and deadlines simultaneously.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with proactive follow up, using data trends and supplier performance insights to drive claim outcomes.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
