We are currently seeking a highly experienced professional for one of our clients in the AI, Digital Transformation & Smart Cities sector. This is a strategic opportunity to contribute to large-scale, AI-driven transformation programs across the GCC, working on high-impact initiatives at national and enterprise levels.
المنصب: Smart City AI Expert
الموقع: GCC (primarily المملكة العربية السعودية & الإمارات العربية المتحدة) – Hybrid
Engagement: Part-time (3–4 days per week) – Long-term / multi-year projects
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development of AI-enabled smart city solutions and service offerings
Design and implement AI use cases such as digital twins, urban analytics, and intelligent infrastructure
Contribute to the development of command centres and AI-driven operational systems
Provide expertise in IoT, predictive analytics, and real-time decision-making systems
Advise on intelligent mobility, energy optimization, and public safety solutions
Develop frameworks and methodologies for smart city AI delivery
Support large-scale transformation projects and client engagements across sectors
Qualifications:
Minimum 15+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in AI-related roles at senior or executive level
Proven experience leading large-scale AI projects, ideally within smart cities or urban innovation
Strong expertise in AI applications such as digital twins, IoT, and data-driven urban systems
Experience in consulting, digital transformation, or large infrastructure projects
Multi-sector experience (public sector, technology, infrastructure, etc.) is preferred
Experience in Europe or the الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية is required; GCC / Middle East experience is a plus
Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in a relevant field
Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills
