Key Responsibilities Health & Safety Implementation
  • Enforce project HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices on site.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Monitor compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Risk Assessments.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety rules by all employees and contractors.
  • Participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and safety awareness campaigns.
Compliance & Audits
  • Ensure compliance with client requirements, applicable legislation, and international safety standards (e.g., ISO 45001, OSHA).
  • Support internal and external HSE audits and inspections.
  • Report non-conformances and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assist in reporting, investigating, and analyzing incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
  • Prepare incident investigation reports and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate HSE records, logs, and statistics.
  • Monitor environmental controls related to waste management, spill prevention, and environmental protection.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
  • Support environmental inspections and compliance activities.
  • Deliver site HSE inductions for new employees and contractors.
  • Support HSE training programs and safety campaigns.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and proactive hazard reporting.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Experience
  • HSE experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or EPC projects.
  • Proven experience in construction safety and site-based HSE operations.
  • Experience working on large-scale or high-risk projects is preferred.
  • Proven experience in the oil & gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries, with strong exposure to construction safety on large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to audit and monitor compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE requirements, ensuring the minimization of losses to Saudi Aramco, the public, and contractors.
  • Experience in preparing, implementing, and maintaining effective loss control and safety programs, including the development and follow-up of corrective and preventive action procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of international safety standards, codes, and procedures, applicable to oil & gas and construction environments.
  • Possession of an internationally recognized professional safety certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CMIOSH is highly desirable.
