Safety Engineer

To ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained across all project sites, with a focus on architectural and construction-related safety practices. The role involves implementing safety procedures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor health and safety plans and procedures at project sites.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
• Ensure all employees and contractors comply with safety protocols and procedures.
• Deliver safety training and awareness sessions, including the use of PPE.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to incorporate safety requirements into design and construction phases, especially regarding architectural elements.
• Prepare regular safety reports for management review.
• Promote a strong safety culture within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, preferably in Architectural Engineering.
• Previous experience in safety or risk management, ideally within the construction or contracting sector.

Preferred Certifications:

• NEBOSH ,IOSH ,OSHA,CSP ,ASP ,SPSP

Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and within multidisciplinary teams.
