CCL Global are currently recruiting for a Plant Manager- Operations Lead for an EPC (Metals Recycling & Refining) to join a major Joint Venture developing a large-scale industrial recycling facility in المملكة العربية السعودية. This is a high-profile Greenfield project within an established industrial complex and forms part of a significant long-term investment program in critical materials processing. This facility would turn oil refinery wastes into a domestic resource to produce ferrovanadium.
The Plant Manager will be responsible for :
Project phase- stating operations requirement in projects, developing operations, and commissioning procedures, acting as technical authority for operations related deliverables and assurances
Operating Phase- overseeing the production, personnel management, and compliance of all relevant requirements (legal and in-house).
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop operating strategies and procedures
Represent operations department in assurance events and operability reviews i.e. 3D reviews
Sign off relevant deliverables as technical authority for Operations
Train the trainers for commissioning and operation of the facilities
Receive the facilities from the Project Manager when facilities pass mechanical completion and sign off Statement of Fitness form.
Lead project start-up and commissioning phase
Participate in project Steering Committee meetings Operating Phase
Streamline production processes and methods in the area of responsibility
Production planning and control in collaboration with other related departments
Assist with assessing raw materials, auxiliary materials and operating materials (Purchasing dept.)
Assist with customer support (Sales)
Materials scheduling / Inventory control
Implement new production equipment and process technologies
Responsible for staff within the area of responsibility
Technical input for budget planning
Technical input for product costing
Comply with occupational health, environment, and quality requirements
On-call duty (week-long, in case of emergencies)
Operating & Maintenance Procedures
Commissioning Procedure and Plan
Asset Control & Assurance Plan
REQUIRED DEGREES / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS
Strong HSE experience including operating and technical safety
Completed degree at a technical university or college with a major in inorganic chemistry, process engineering, industrial engineering, or similar subject
• Relevant production experience, ideally in the field of chemical engineering
Knowledge of ERP software and solid computer skills
Leadership capability
• Independent, organized and target-oriented approach
Good communication skills and assertive attitude
Good English language skills (writing and speaking)
