Responsibilities

• The Basic Job of process operator is to run the Process line and equipment’s systematically and effectively.
• Achieve production targets by increasing line efficiency and minimizing process waste.
• Gather hourly data of process control checks, conduct quality wall meetings, maintain hygiene and housekeeping.
• Alert on food safety hazards and highlight issues to Direct Managers.
• Summarize daily material usage and calculate basic material, seasoning, and oil efficiency in daily summary reports.
• Monitor and minimize energy usage such as water, electricity, and gas.
• Manage process workers at assigned stations and maintain good Good Manufacturing Practice within the area.
• Operate, control and maintain processing equipment to convert raw materials into final product in accordance with KPIs.
• Make decisions based on best utilization to achieve maximum output in terms of yield conversion.
• Repair and maintain processing equipment to maintain line efficiency.
• Stop production process in consultation with Laboratory Technician if out of specification.
• Running the line systematically and efficiently.
• Perform and report hourly process control checks.
• Conduct quality wall meetings at required intervals.
• Ensure raw materials are available near line.
• Ensure equipment is hygienically maintained.
• Ensure equipment at workstations is in good working condition.
• Ensure line achieves required efficiency set by business.
• Achieve material efficiency target set by business.
• Highlight day-to-day issues to Direct Managers.
• Collect and report material wastages, summarize usage, calculate material efficiency.
• Inform Engineering for equipment maintenance or repair via MP2.
• Manage workers under line for break time, cleaning during change flavour, time in and time out.
• Maintain line or workstation in good condition with patrol checklist.
• Report all health hazards within workplace to immediate Direct Manager.
• Ensure quality products are produced at all times.
• Communicate daily issues and activities to other shifts.
• Emphasize teamwork and cooperation.
• Support IPS audits & Food safety audits.
• Effective utilization of energy resources such as water, gas, electricity.
• Implement, sustain, and participate in continual improvement of the EHS Management System at area of responsibility.

• Knowledge / Skill
  • At least ITI graduate.
  • Basic communication skills.
  • Good working attitude.
  • Able to handle and operate process equipment independently.
• Experience
  • Minimum two years working experience in a manufacturing processing environment (waived in lieu of tertiary background).
