Job Overview
Responsible for planning, executing, and troubleshooting mechanical maintenance tasks, ensuring plant equipment reliability and safety while adhering to maintenance schedules and cost effective practices.
Responsibilities
- Execution of assigned tasks and work orders related to all types of mechanical maintenance, including corrective, preventive, and engineering tasks, within the given time frames.
- The overall responsibility for performing assigned work orders as well as other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Identify the root causes of major and repeating problems.
- Respond to all technical problems within the assigned area and ensure proper actions are identified and taken.
- Identify actions and parts requirements; assess spare parts description, availability, and critical spare parts.
- Maintain daily contact with direct managers, peers, and supervisors.
- Make decisions on the utilization of spare parts and required corrective and preventive actions for breakdowns.
- Execute maintenance schedules and plans to maintain plant equipment within engineering standards.
- Achieve and maintain line availability (technical efficiency) and equipment readiness.
- Ensure proper controls for all hazards and risks associated with activities, achieving EHS targets.
- Operate equipment related to utilities sections.
- Supervise contracted labor during maintenance activities, following safety and الشركة standards.
- Perform required daily parameter readings and monitoring as directed by the supervisor.
- Daily report all shift activities.
- Identify opportunities and support initiatives to improve production processes in coordination with production personnel.
- Support the execution of the site Maintenance and Reliability M&R strategy to achieve world class maintenance status.
- Execute and follow assigned actions related to the PEMM tool and MIAP.
- Support the implementation of reliability engineering tools and techniques to achieve M&R KPIs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and failure analysis techniques such as root cause analysis.
- Attend maintenance forum meetings to share performance, best practices, challenges, and achievements.
- Maintain and implement AIB standards.
- Maintain accurate SAP PM records and updates for all assigned work orders.
- Adhere to EHS and QFS policies and standards.
- Participate in continual improvement of the EHS management system at the area of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Mechanical safety standards awareness.
- Maintenance planning and execution system knowledge.
- Ability to read and understand plans, diagrams, layouts, and schematic drawings.
- Knowledge of operating and automation systems.
- Technical knowledge for refrigeration plant cooling systems, troubleshooting, and AC technician operations.
- Knowledge of maintenance management software (CMMS) is preferred.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Knowledge of quality and food safety (QFS) systems and policies.
- Knowledge of environment, health, and safety (EHS) systems and policies.
- Experience with SAP system.
- Ability to perform basic electromechanical works independently.
- General computer literacy (MS Office applications).
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of industrial experience.
- Hands on experience in mechanical equipment maintenance, thermal and hydraulic machines, HVAC systems, rotating and conveying mechanisms.
- Equipment troubleshooting hands on experience.
