JASARA PMC is seeking a committed and experienced HSE Manager to enhance our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental management systems on various projects. Your expertise will ensure that all activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of safety within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures
• Conduct regular audits and site inspections to ensure compliance with local and international safety standards
• Lead training initiatives to cultivate awareness and adherence to HSE practices among all employees and contractors
• Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures
• Compile and present reports on HSE performance metrics and compliance status to management
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution
• Stay abreast of changes in HSE legislation and best practices, ensuring the organization remains compliant and informed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in HSE management, particularly in the construction sector
• Thorough understanding of HSE legislation, standards, and procedures
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence a safety culture across various teams
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and train employees at all levels
• Certifications in HSE (NEBOSH, OSHA) or equivalent are preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving
