Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, المملكة العربية السعودية. As a Civil Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of our construction projects, particularly in infrastructure and road development.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of construction sites, materials, and work processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
  • Analyze and interpret contract documents, blueprints, and technical specifications to verify adherence to project requirements
  • Perform regular site visits to monitor construction progress and identify potential issues or deviations from plans
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, including observations, recommendations, and photographic documentation
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure project quality
  • Verify equipment settings, alignment, and testing procedures to maintain project integrity
  • Monitor and report on contractor resources, including personnel and equipment utilization
  • Implement and oversee quality control and quality assurance procedures throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct site measurements and surveying checks to ensure accurate alignment and levels
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management on inspection findings and project status
  • Assist in the review and approval of contractor submittals and change orders
  • Ensure compliance with local and international construction standards and regulations
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil inspection, particularly in infrastructure and road projects
  • In-depth knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and regulations in المملكة العربية السعودية
  • Strong familiarity with contract documents, detailed drawings, and project specifications
  • Proficiency in conducting site inspections, quality control, and quality assurance procedures
  • Excellent skills in site measurements and surveying checks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite
  • Outstanding report writing and communication skills in English
  • Arabic language skills preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
  • Willingness to travel to various project sites within المملكة العربية السعودية
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle in المملكة العربية السعودية
