Environmental Health & Safety Experienced Professional - Health and Safety Do you want work as a HSE Specialist? Do you enjoy being part of a successful HSE team? Join our Environmental Health & Safety team

The Field HSE Specialist offers expert knowledge and skills in order to generate and promote a positive health and safety culture. This represents a key role in helping control occupational risk on the rig.

Partner with the best

In this role, you will be ensuring the well-being of our workforce and compliance of HSE on-site. You will build relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met. You will provide solutions and help to develop your team and continuously improve our HSE.

As an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for:
  • Managing, applying and ensuring adherence with Client and BH HSE policies and procedures, and assisting the contracted services to comply with the same.
  • Promoting, with the management, a safety culture within the workplace in accordance with the industry best practices.
  • Leading / participating effectively in the site various HSE meetings, presenting safety data and statistics, communicating HSE alerts and lessons learnt, and discussing issues related to HSE with the crew.
  • Performing, verifying and following up with site inspections as required. Ensuring that all inspections are performed in accordance with Client and BH requirements, and generating a Remedial Work Plan (RWP) for non-compliance.
  • Monitoring the work environment and watching out for the safety of all workers to protect them from entering hazardous situations, particularly during work performed under specific PTW requirements.
  • Reporting all incidents, accidents and near misses immediately and leading the investigation and analysis process. Compiling incident reports and communicating the investigation results as required.
  • Conducting site HSE inductions for all crew and visitors.
  • Ensuring all crew are certified as per Client and BH training matrixes, and conducting refresher training as required.
Fuel your Passion

To be successful in this role you will :

  • Have High school diploma or equivalent is required; higher education is an advantage.
  • Have NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
  • Have 3+ years of Experience in Drilling rig.
  • Familiar with Rig Aramco HSE Requirements.
