Job Summary

The Business Development Director drives the الشركة's strategic growth by leading market intelligence, opportunity identification, and relationship development across the B2G, Semi Government, and PPE segments. The role spearheads initiatives to unlock new markets, cultivate high value partnerships, and secure profitable commercial opportunities. Leveraging deep expertise in market analysis, sales operations, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor movements, regulatory shifts, and infrastructure policies to identify high value opportunities and build long term, sustainable pipelines grounded in data, market signals, and customer demand patterns
  • Business Development: Develop and align the department's strategy with broader business development objectives, ensuring that network expansion and quality enhancement initiatives support the الشركة's growth trajectory. BD must be supported by solid execution push
  • Market Research & Analysis: Engage in in depth market analysis to unearth emerging trends, customer demands, and growth opportunities, aligning with network expansion and quality enhancement goals
  • Networking & Partnership Development: Identify potential growth markets, customer segments, and strategic partners and tailor network expansion efforts to capitalize on these opportunities
  • Revenue Optimization & Business Expansion: Develop and implement data driven strategies specifically designed to maximize revenue generation from key clients, exploring upselling and cross selling opportunities based on their specific needs and growth plans
  • B2G Tender & RFP Leadership: Lead the end to end Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including bid strategy, proposal writing, and government compliance
  • Align closely with COE and Operations to achieve GP targets, optimize product mix, and ensure seamless bid preparation and post award execution
  • Coordinate with Finance, Operations, and CR to manage credit exposure, mitigate financial risk, and ensure compliance with corporate credit policies
  • Team up with COE/ Operations to ensure strict adherence to corporate governance, SLA commitments, tender protocols, and all internal approval frameworks across the sales lifecycle
Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration - MBA will be preferred

Professional Certification

Sales Management experience but any related experience is preferred

Experience

Minimum 15 years of experience in Business development, sales or marketing operations - at least 3 years of general management or directorship experience is required (exposure to automotive industry would be an edge)

Languages

Fluency in English & Arabic language
