المنصب Summary

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced FSO Site Engineer to support large-scale telecom network deployment and modernization projects across المملكة العربية السعودية. The role is responsible for leading field implementation activities, ensuring successful installation, integration, commissioning, quality control, and HSE compliance across mobile network infrastructure projects.

Detailed Job Description

As an FSO Site Engineer, you will be a key member of the field delivery team, responsible for managing end-to-end site implementation activities across RAN, transmission, power, and supporting network infrastructure. Working closely with project managers, NOC teams, customers, subcontractors, and field technicians, you will ensure telecom sites are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. The المنصب requires strong hands on technical expertise in Ericsson radio solutions, transmission systems, and site integration activities. You will be responsible for supervising field resources, resolving technical issues, coordinating site acceptance activities, and maintaining project schedules. Key Responsibilities
  • Execute site installation, integration, commissioning, and acceptance activities for telecom network deployments.
  • Deliver RAN, transmission, and power infrastructure implementations in accordance with project requirements.
  • Supervise field engineers, riggers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure quality project execution.
  • Monitor site progress, track milestones, and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Conduct site audits, inspections, and quality assurance activities.
  • Coordinate integration and troubleshooting activities with NOC and remote support teams.
  • Perform alarm clearance, fault isolation, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Support RF installation, testing, and optimization readiness activities.
  • Troubleshoot telecom equipment, transmission links, and site infrastructure issues.
  • Prepare site documentation, implementation reports, punch lists, and customer acceptance records.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, and project procedures.
  • Enforce HSE requirements and promote a safe working environment across all project activities.
  • Support site surveys, TSSR reviews, and implementation planning activities.
  • Maintain high network availability and service quality throughout project deployment and handover phases.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in telecom field operations, deployment, or site engineering roles.
  • Hands on experience with Ericsson RBS 6000 platform installation and integration.
  • Strong knowledge of 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, and 5G RAN technologies.
  • Proven experience in telecom site installation, integration, commissioning, and acceptance.
  • Experience performing alarm clearance and telecom fault troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of RF installation standards, testing procedures, and site quality requirements.
  • Working knowledge of microwave transmission systems and backhaul technologies.
  • Experience with VLAN configuration and basic IP networking concepts.
  • Hands on experience conducting site surveys and TSSR evaluations.
  • Ability to prepare accurate technical documentation and project reports.
  • Strong understanding of telecom site safety requirements and HSE best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in challenging field environments while meeting project deadlines.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with Ericsson Mini-Link 6600 and Mini-Link TN platforms.
  • Knowledge of XPIC and E-Band microwave technologies.
  • Experience with fiber transmission networks and optical infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with telecom civil works quality assurance and site construction activities.
  • Knowledge of DC power systems, rectifiers, batteries, and backup power infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting large-scale network rollout or modernization projects.
