Role Overview
The Accommodation Senior Specialist is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and delivery of accommodation services for participating teams, officials, VIPs, commercial partners, media representatives, and event workforce during a major international football tournament.
This role ensures all accommodation operations meet international standards, tournament requirements, and stakeholder expectations while maintaining cost control, operational efficiency, and exceptional service quality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning & Strategy
Support the development and execution of the overall accommodation strategy.
Conduct hotel market research and benchmarking across host cities.
Assist in defining room alالموقع models for teams, match officials, dignitaries, sponsors, and staff.
Contribute to accommodation policies, service standards, and operational procedures.
2. Contracting & Supplier Management
Identify, evaluate, and recommend suitable hotels and serviced apartments.
Support negotiation of hotel contracts, including room rates, meeting spaces, F&B packages, and attrition clauses.
Maintain strong working relationships with hotel management and key hospitality partners.
Monitor contractual compliance and service delivery standards.
3. Operations Management
Oversee rooming lists, alالموقعs, and booking systems.
Coordinate arrivals, departures, early check-ins/late check-outs, and special requests.
Ensure dedicated floors or secure areas are arranged where required.
Work closely with security, transport, and protocol teams to ensure seamless guest experience.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
Act as a primary point of contact for assigned stakeholder groups.
Liaise with national teams, delegations, match officials, media operations, and VIP services.
Provide clear communication regarding accommodation guidelines and deadlines.
Manage issue resolution and escalation during tournament time.
5. Budget & Financial Oversight
Track accommodation budgets and forecast expenditures.
Review invoices and ensure financial accuracy in coordination with finance teams.
Optimize cost efficiency while maintaining service standards.
6. On-Site Tournament Delivery
Deploy to host cities as required.
Supervise hotel operations and service levels during peak periods.

Provide daily reporting to Accommodation Manager and tournament leadership.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Event Management, Business Administration, or related field.
3-4 years of experience in accommodation management, large-scale event operations, or hospitality contracting.
Experience working on international sporting events is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of hotel contracting, inventory management, and room alالموقع systems.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a high-pressure environment.
