The project:

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in المملكة العربية السعودية. This unique project consists of major mixed‑use development including sports facilities, entertainment, and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high‑calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Develop and deliver annual business plan objectives within agreed deadlines and budget constraints.
• Lead and manage geotechnical design resources and oversee the delivery of geotechnical design services across multiple projects.
• Present management review data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to project and functional leadership teams.
• Support business development, work‑winning initiatives, and the delivery of training and capability development programmes.
• Ensure compliance with management systems, project governance, and defined roles and responsibilities.
• Act as the primary focal point for geotechnical design matters, driving continuous improvement in delivery plans, technical standards, tools, and processes.
• Influence procurement strategies, contractual and legal matters, and promote technical excellence through effective stakeholder collaboration.
• Support net zero carbon objectives by proactively identifying, managing, and reducing carbon emissions while leveraging organisational knowledge and best practices.

You’ll need to have:

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or a related discipline (or equivalent).
• Significant experience leading geotechnical design teams and delivering major infrastructure or building projects.
