Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced QHSE Manager to oversee and manage the quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) programs within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in QHSE management in the oil and gas industry and be passionate about driving continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining QHSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with both company standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage QHSE policies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing operations to assess compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards
• Lead and support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of safety or quality issues
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility throughout the organization by providing training, coaching, and guidance to staff
• Monitor and report on key QHSE metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management to improve operations
• Stay up to date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices, and ensure all necessary updates are communicated and implemented within the organization
• Work closely with other departments, including production, maintenance, and engineering, to develop and implement safety and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all QHSE activities, including audits, inspections, certifications, and incident reports
• Manage emergency preparedness programs and ensure staff are trained and prepared for emergency situations
• Lead investigations into any incidents or accidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented to prevent future occurrences

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a QHSE Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the oil and gas or manufacturing industries
• Strong knowledge of relevant QHSE regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, etc.)
• Excellent understanding of safety, quality, and environmental management systems and risk management
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization
• Experience conducting audits, investigations, and incident reporting
• Ability to identify hazards, analyze risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Proficient in the use of QHSE management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 9001/14001/45001, or other QHSE-related qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Additional certifications in safety management, environmental management, or quality control
