R&D Manager (FMCG)

• Partner to develop and implement product strategies for assigned products.
• Conduct market research, user research, and competitive analysis to identify product opportunities and inform product roadmaps.
• Develop detailed product requirements documents (PRDs) that clearly define product functionality and specifications.
• Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to bring products to market on time and within scope.
• Track and analyze product performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on product features based on data and user feedback.
• Oversee the full production lifecycle, from sourcing raw materials to delivering finished products.
• Explore and establish strategic partnerships that expand market reach and improve product positioning.
• Manage product backlogs and roadmaps, prioritizing features to align with company objectives and customer needs.
• Lead the creation of prototypes, testing phases, and incorporation of iterative feedback to ensure product quality and usability.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to uphold high production standards.
• Monitor production timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Foster strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to streamline procurement and ensure the availability of materials.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create strategies for product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in the industry to inform product innovation and strategic planning.
• Prepare detailed reports on product development progress, challenges, and market performance for stakeholders.
• Ensure all products comply with regulatory, environmental, and safety standards.
• Assess and improve the quality of products in production and service departments.
• Conduct effective root cause analysis on safety and quality issues, and implement corrective and preventative actions.
• Act as a change agent to consult and improve results by streamlining basic processes.
• Understand production metrics and work with teams to improve KPIs (delivery, cost of quality, safety).
• Establish and enforce quality standards and specifications with vendors in collaboration with Production, Purchasing, R&D, Service, and QA/RA teams.
• Provide manufacturing support for QMS (Quality Management System) processes.
• Monitor medical device industry trends for assigned QMS processes.
• Analyze and trend data to facilitate continuous improvement efforts and product line effectiveness.
• Conduct investigations to support MRB (Material Review Board), CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Actions), Supply Chain, and Post-Market Surveillance.
• Provide manufacturing support for assigned development and continuous improvement projects.
• Manage employees involved with manufacturing, including training, assigning work, appraising performance, and resolving issues.
• Train team members within the workgroup and lead improvement projects effectively.
• Support the Plant Manager and Quality Management Representative as required.

Pay: ﷼5,000.00 - ﷼10,000.00 per month
