Address and troubleshoots issues escalated by the Service Desk involving workflows, interfaces, and applications, with a focus on clinical, medical and biomedical applications of KFSH&RC. Helps ensure the optimal usage of applications to meet the changing needs of the business.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
1. Supports troubleshooting L2 issues escalated by the Service Desk involving workflows, interfaces, and applications, with a focus on clinical, medical and biomedical applications.2. Communicates downtime and other issues to relevant stakeholders and report back to stakeholders upon resolution.
3. Escalates unresolved issues to the relevant Applications & Health Informatics Department, as necessary (L3 support).
4. Supports development of training material for users of business applications.
5. Supports implementing standard and minor changes to certain applications capabilities as indicated in the change classification matrix.
6. Supports assisting end-users with packaged application report development.
7. Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.
8. Follows all Hospitals related Policies and Procedures.
9. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education
Masters or Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Health Sciences, or related discipline is required.
Experience Required
One (1) year of related experience with Masters, or three (3) years of related experience with Bachelors Degree is required.
