The Associate Vice President for the Supporting Services sector is a key executive role that assists the Vice President in driving business growth across various work environments and sub-sectors. This position involves serving as a strategic advisor to the leadership team, ensuring that all divisions and departments align with the organizations overarching strategic objectives.

Key Accountabilities

The position involves:

  • Develop and implement the sectors strategy, overseeing operations and managing business development across the sector, sub-companies, and business units.
  • Build customer-based networks to attract new clients and drive business growth.
  • Identify and utilize resources essential for business development and sales.
  • Promote the organizations services and values to the public to enhance sales generation.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities or partnerships aligned with the organizations goals.
  • Align with operational procedures to achieve revenue generation and sales growth objectives.
  • Lead and manage staff, set goals, provide guidance, and evaluate performance in the designated area while supporting the broader organization.
  • Develop and manage budgets for relevant functions and provide recommendations for the sector as a whole.
  • Collaborate with the marketing director to create innovative outreach strategies to attract and retain clients.
  • Work with staff members to ensure a superior client experience in all interactions, from follow-ups to delivery and needs assessments.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are Looking for:

  • Bachelors degree in business development, strategic management, or related fields.
  • MBA is considered a plus.
  • Experience in business development or strategic management (Saudi Arabia experience is a plus).
  • At least 10 years in business development, professional services, team leadership, HR, and B2B sales.
  • Minimum of 5 years working with executive or C-suite level clients in a relevant business.
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries ( Heavy equipment rental - Car rental Project accommodation and catering - Supporting services business models ).
  • Strong financial management skills.
