We are looking for Head of Workplace and FM Management KSA
Job Summary: The Head of Workplace and FM Management KSA will provide leadership and oversee our account workplace management (FM) operations, PAM FM services, support FM consultancy and key transitions and Investor/Developer clients, and will support key client interactions, performance, and growth in KSA. They will support the ongoing growth discussions related to FM and the possible formation of JVs in the marketplace. The role is accountable for compliant FM operations and sustainable growth in line with business profit and cash targets in KSA in collaboration with EMEA leadership, local country, leadership and all JLL local /regional/global platform (HSSE, engineering, etc.) as well as corporate functions (HR, Sourcing, Legal etc.)
The candidate will provide indirect country leadership, for all platform/operational in country functions for our workplace management accounts and investor/developer client’s business. The Head of Workplace and FM Management KSA will have a dual reportioning line reporting line to Workplace Management / in country KSA leadership.
FM Account and FM platform leaders based in KSA will have a dotted line to the Head of Workplace and FM Management KSA to enable the active development and career management of all resources in KSA, facilitate awareness and engagement and ensure that we establish an active community across all Account based teams.
The Head of Workplace and FM Management KSA will be crucial in integrating our operations functions to provide a seamless and statutory compliant delivery experience for our account teams and customers in Country. The candidate is accountable to aggregate/own and drive a sustainable Workplace Management / FM growth strategy in strong collaboration with EMEA FM Leaders, sales & solution teams, operational teams and local JLL leadership. He/ She will be actively involved and commercially supporting sales and solution activities for FM opportunities from a local market perspective/context.
The Head of Workplace and FM Management KSA will also work with account teams, platform, and operations functions to drive operational excellence and service delivery innovation, adopt best practices, advance talent development and recruitment, and resolve operational issues impacting client relationships and account profitability. An outcome of this should be more efficient processes enabled by technology that reduces our cost to serve.
The Head of Workplace and FM Management KSA will also ensure account teams comply with HSSE, risk and other regulatory, compliance and operational programs. Through collaboration with accounts, sales and operations teams, the candidate will consolidate feedback on product feasibility, desirability, and viability for their Country. Working with operations leadership, they will ensure operations resources are directed to the right area of the business to solve the most critical account and customer problems. Whilst also leveraging operational resources to deliver scale through products and programs to support growth and expansion. Building an active Operations and Workplace Management community within the wider GEO and connected to the EMEA and Global FM and engineering networks provide Managing Agent services and specialist FM consultancy and related expert services in KSA.
The Head of Workplace and FM Management KSA will also function as the country-based Program Lead to establish new workplace management related business, e.g. the development of JVs, FM Consultancy, MA models and other FM capabilities. This includes collaborating with other key regional and platform SMEs and EMEA leadership to deliver the following:
Key Responsibilities:
Operational licenses needed for all services – statutory compliant operations.
Recruitment strategy in alignment with HR and T&A
Oversees and supports the supply chain set-up in cooperation with central procurement and legal
Training and people development in strong collaboration with HR
Accountable for compliant Workplace Management and FM operations in KSA and sustainable growth in collaboration with EMEA and local country leadership, and all JLL local /regional/global platform (HSSE, engineering, etc.) & corporate functions (HR, Sourcing, Legal etc.)
Ensures compliance to local standards and global JLL SOP and JLL standards.
Monitors and actively supports local transition activities in collaboration with projects/account specific transition teams unlocking any local challenges (recruiting, sourcing etc.)
He/she will work with operations leadership to develop and run country communities, connecting our operations and on-account teams.
Main point of contact for and link to JLL Operations Teams and other corporate functions in KSA about JLL Workplace Management and FM entity related topics
The Head of Workplace and FM Management KSA will be member of the senior leadership team in KSA (Senior Director status) and will act as the knowledgeable go-to leader for our Workplace Management and FM services and accounts in country supporting local activities. He / She is the visible local JLL FM representative ‘face’ into the market (customers, partners, employees, government institutions and FM associations).
Experience
Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in the property & facilities management market with excellent knowledge of masterplan development operations, Property & Facility Management consultancy, estate and community management, building services, asset management and new build FM services design and deployment.
Strong direct knowledge of the facilities management market in the Middle East, with minimum 5 years’ experience in KSA, including industry trends, regulations, and key suppliers and competitors.
Fluent in Arabic and English preferred
Experience of tenant and service charge management desirable
Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the real estate / construction or FM industry
Solid understanding of project management methodologies, processes efficiency, and industry best practices.
