• Manages procurement processes and reviews for compliance with applicable procedures.
• Manages and directs procurement staff.
• Requires thorough working knowledge of purchasing policies, processes and procedures.
• Skilled in the development of purchasing strategies.
• Ability to identify purchasing processes/ actions that may impact the project.
• Knowledgeable of construction means, methods, and sequences.
• Demonstrates the ability to effectively supervise a purchasing team.
• Assumes mentoring and training roles as requested.
• Documents employee performance issues and participates in resolutions.
