Major Responsibilities & Duties performed:

  • Carryout cleaning of equipment before starting and after completion of every job
  • To manufacture or repair the jobs given by maintenance engineer with ultimate quality within time frame.
  • Take necessary action to keep safe and good condition of tools and equipment provided in the machine shop.
  • Periodical maintenance and lubrication of machine shop equipment.
  • Ask permission from maintenance engineer prior to carry out any job for manufacturing
  • Keep regular and punctuality
  • Keep informing about availability and necessary tools and spares and prepare machining tools
  • Keep the measuring instruments in good condition and inform the calibration due timely.
  • Ensure the life of tools to its optimum level.
  • Timely suggestions to improve machine shop related activities, safety and environment
  • Use appropriate personal protective Equipment (PPE) as required for the task.
  • To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
  • To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
  • To report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
  • To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
  • To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
  • To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
  • To attend safety trainings planned for them.
  • Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
