Job Purpose:

  • Manage through Corporate Finance and Shared Services, work closely with Finance leader to report accounting operations, financial statements, and assure compliance with rules & regulations, Cost analysis, budgeting, optimization and management reporting to support decision-making.
  • Reporting to the Finance leader in regards to all financial and accounting activities, monitor financial internal control policies and procedures and financial risk management.
  • Advice Finance leader on any conflict of interest related partys transaction to comply with Companies Law, Governance, and conflict of interest policy.

Key Accountabilities:


Statutory Reporting:

  • Coordinate & ensure accuracy of quarterly/annual Financial Statement for statutory reporting purpose.
  • Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported.
  • Collaborate with external auditing services and internal Audit to ensure proper compliance with all regulations.
  • Support internal audit for coordination with government audit.
  • Review Zakat and tax related matters.
  • Support to review company contract and agreement from finance point of view.


Management Reporting:

  • Budgeting, costing and business analysis. Advise Management, board of director and others on financial performance, financial strategies and financial risk management and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process & prepare the monthly NRV and the asset impairment test if applicable.
  • Verify the internal management report (JV report) and monthly financial reporting package to partner.
  • Respond to the queries on financial reporting raised by partner.
  • Verify the financial part of the periodic board package.
  • Manage the Capital Budget approval and appropriation within the approved budget and the company limit of authority schedule, in addition to managing capital projects financial close out.
  • Monthly Financial reporting package, Capital Expenditure report, Report to the Finance leader with timely and accurate financial information,
  • Assist the Finance leader in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.
  • Manage the dividends distributions.


Insurance:

  • Ensure full coverage of Companys asset, Coordinate with SABIC risk management for CIP, Coordinate other insurance policies with SS insurance services for property all risks.
  • Claim recovery cases to the management if applicable.


Balance Sheet:

  • Manage through Shared Services Employee benefit and salary payments, vendor payments & Invoice support, GR/IR clearance and analysis of ageing report, clearance of advance payments Applicable SAP activities, Cash Flow management.
  • Oversight on Balance sheet Account reconciliation with SABIC Shared Services.
  • Coordinates and lead the annual Independent physical count for all Inventory.
  • Manage the billing to and from partner.
  • Manage invoices for third party customers.
  • Review the accounting allocation for all payable invoices.
  • Control the expenditures by close review, monitoring and by providing all departments with the required variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Manage the accounting process for the monthly Netback.
  • Monitoring credit and collections of both partners in additions to the other creditors.
  • Make attestation for all payments, before submitting to banks, to ensure proper approval as per company AAS.


Others:

  • Ensure if any conflict of interest related parties transaction is comply with Companies Law, Capital Market Corporate Governance, and conflict of interest policy.
  • Support cash management team for initiate the payment in E-banking system, perform bank-clearing account, and provide future prices from partners.
  • Monitor and control product costing of partner grades.
  • Ensure the shutdown and turnaround maintenance cost reclassification to period costs is posted by Corporate Finance.
  • Monitoring the SWAP-under IFRS and make sure to follow swap procedure for costing accuracy purpose.
  • Urgent requirement and information from management, board and shareholder.
  • Shared services focal point for demand plan and coordinate with res department during business plan cycle.
  • Verify the corporate initiative, projects and enhancement.
  • Maintain/Update the "approval authority schedule" AAS and provide guidance on the interpretation of the affiliate AAS


Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Finance & Accounting.
  • MBA qualification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with financial and accounting background & experience, preferably in Petrochemical Industries.
  • Previous experience in Treasury, Tax, Reporting, Manufacturing finance and Project Management is an added advantage.
  • Extensive experience of preparing and delivering management presentation and business case.


Skills:

  • Hands on experience of SAP modules.
  • Advance analytical skills capability & business case presentation
