Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team in Wadi ad-Dawasir. The Junior Accountant will play a vital role in supporting the finance department by performing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records, both physical and electronic.
• Perform data entry and other clerical tasks as needed.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate recording.
• Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory filings (with supervision).
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Support senior accounting staff with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Command in Arabic would be an added advantage
• Knowledge of accounting software Zoho Books is a plus.
