The Project Information Manager (PIM) acts as the Project Manager of automation technology for the project, managing the information technology, automation and information/data management requirements for the project team.

The PIM is charged with maximizing the efficiency of the project team and achieving the project goals through the best application of automation technology tools and methods. Working with the department manager, this role may coordinate and manage automation activities on a project. This role may manage or supervise others.

SABIC Collaboration Project Specific:

Key Roles (which will obviously evolve as we continue with the Collaboration):
  • Support Fluor business operation in Jubail office – Fluor IT, General Fluor user support -Fluor IT
  • Data Protection/Cyber Security/Information handling – Fluor and SABIC requirements
  • Coordinate with SABIC IT/EDMS and provide that SABIC system knowledge/support to Fluor personnel using SABIC laptops/systems
Support Fluor business operation in Jubail office – Fluor IT systems
  • HR operations, Business Services operations, Project Management/Contract Administration operations
  • Data protection/cyber security/Information management Fluor and SABIC requirements, Information handling/interface between Fluor and SABIC, Coordinate connectivity (provided by SABIC) issues, Teams/Sharepoint/Network Folder setup/ Email boxes access/management
  • Network/Internet connectivity, Shared folders with SABIC Partnership Management – data protection/access control/accounts, Documentation/Job bulletins
General Fluor user support -Fluor IT
  • Provide support to 80+ Fluor personnel with Fluor related IT Items
  • Fluor Mob/demob, Network/Internet connectivity, Accounts/ Password resets, Systems/software requirements
  • Access Rights Teams/Sharepoint/Network Folder/ Email boxes, Access/control of Fluor knowledge repositories
  • Data protection/cyber security/Information management- Fluor and SABIC requirements, Documentation/Job bulletins
Coordinate with SABIC IT/EDMS and provide knowledge to Fluor personnel using SABIC laptops/systems (including Trainee’s/Trainers)
  • Fluor IT related: Fluor Mob/demob, Fluor Accounts/Password resets
  • Access to Fluor and support of required systems(Fluor email/Teams/network folders/Mandatory Training/Fluor University/timekeeping/Fluor corp materials, from SABIC Laptops only (Trainees)
  • SABIC IT related: Coordinate with SABIC IT/EDMS Software to support Fluor users, Software licensing issues, Accounts/resets, SABIC system use
  • Data protection/cyber security/Information management - Fluor and SABIC requirements, Obtaining Peripherals – Keyboard/mouse/head sets, Network project folders use
  • Software requests, Documentation/Job bulletins
  • In House Projects -SABIC personnel, Support SABIC personnel using Fluor systems - access methods/accounts/password resets etc. Documentation/Job bulletins

General:

  • Apply effective knowledge sharing behaviors in the use of Fluor’s knowledge management portals and communities
  • Work with the client and project management to analyze and develop the work process, and identify the desired electronic interaction between the client and Fluor
  • Coordinate the automation scope, services, budget, and schedule
  • Coordinate design automation kickoff activities and provide overall cross-discipline automation coordination
  • Identify and coordinate the automation project turnover and close-out activities
  • Work with the project management team in identifying the key automation requirements and issues for the client, contractor, partner, and Fluor as related to the project, including identification of specific technology and tools requested by the client to be used in project execution and those tools required by the Fluor project execution team
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Other Job Requirements

  • Specialize in facilitating business process management sessions and workshops
  • Specialize in data analyst skills and/or data quality management
  • Specialize in business process modeling and management
  • Conduct surveillance of industry, client, and competitor intelligence (e.g., conferences, seminars, etc.)
  • Conduct training courses for specialties or Project Information Management (PIM) procedures and solutions
  • Support Excel To Win (ETW) Strategies
  • Support Business Transformation & Innovation (BT&I) initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accredited four (4) year degree or two (2) year diploma, or global equivalent, in Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, or Computer Science is preferred
  • Six (6) years of experience in project management or information management lead position
  • Two (2) years of experience in Project Information Management/Information Technology/Automation
  • Three (3) years of experience in Automation support, Computer Aided Design (CAD) coordination, Project Controls, Engineering, or Procurement/contracts, or equivalent is recommended
