SAP ABAP Developer

ERP SAVVY is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer for a 6-month contract. The role involves working on-site in Saudi Arabia for the first three months, followed by remote work from India for the remaining three months. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 9 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong understanding of SAP modules and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and applications.
• Customize and enhance existing SAP applications to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Develop and maintain reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows (RICEFW).
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP applications with other systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP ABAP programs.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for SAP ABAP programs.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Strong experience with SAP modules such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP NetWeaver.
• Knowledge of SAP enhancement frameworks, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and work on-site in Saudi Arabia for the first three months.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Certification in SAP ABAP.
