Business Development Executive OTA Travel & Tourism

About the Role:

Almatar Trips DMC is seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Executive to join our team and drive MICE sales of Corp & Gov sector, including hotels, flights, land arrangements, Sports, Exhibitions & Incentive deals within Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting and selling our portfolio of travel offerings to Corp & Gov sector that cater to clients seeking MICE & travel services in Saudi Arabia. This position requires a motivated individual with a strong background in MICE sales, particularly within the Corp & Gov sector, who can establish and maintain strong relationships with local and global Corp & Gov partners and help grow our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and sell Saudi Arabia-based MICE & travel products, including hotels, flights, land arrangements, and MICE to Corp & Gov sector. • Build and manage relationships with Corp & Gov sector in various destinations. • Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities with travel Corp & Gov sector. • Handle inquiries, provide quotes, and negotiate prices for hotels, flights, and land arrangements. • Support Corp & Gov sector with product knowledge and ensure they are wellinformed about available services. • Assist in resolving any issues or challenges faced by Corp & Gov partners. • Maintain a deep understanding of the Saudi Arabian MICE services, including key destinations, trends, and competitor offerings. • Achieve sales targets and OKRs set by management.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the MICE sales (Corp & Gov sector), preferably hotel sales, tour operators, DMCs (Destination Management Companies), or similar roles. • Strong knowledge of MICE industry systems, including Tenders, MEGA-GIGA projects, Events, Exhibitions and CRM tools. • Advanced knowledge of Excel functions and other MS systems. • Experience in managing relationships with Corp & Gov sector. • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus). • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. • Ability to understand and adapt to the needs of Corp & Gov sector. • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian MICE destinations, culture, and attractions is a plus. • Ability to work from KSAs office with occasional travel if required.
