Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and safety-conscious Scaffolding Supervisor to oversee the scaffolding operations on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will ensure that all scaffolding work is performed according to safety regulations, project specifications, and industry best practices. The Scaffolding Supervisor will lead a team of scaffolders, ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and dismantling of scaffolding systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the daily activities of scaffolding crews and ensure that scaffolding is erected, maintained, and dismantled in accordance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to ensure the scaffolding work complies with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Manage and coordinate the allocation of scaffolding materials and resources to ensure timely project completion.
• Ensure that all scaffolders are trained and certified according to the applicable standards.
• Monitor work progress and resolve any issues that may arise during scaffolding operations.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure all safety protocols are followed on-site.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately to the Site Manager.
• Keep accurate records of scaffolding installations, inspections, maintenance, and dismantling activities.
• Provide on-site guidance and mentorship to scaffolders and other team members.
• Ensure compliance with all local regulations and industry standards related to scaffolding.
• Coordinate with other trades and departments to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor or in a similar role in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of scaffolding systems, safety standards, and construction practices.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations, including risk assessments and safety audits.
• Ability to use scaffolding inspection tools and equipment.
