Job Description:

Parsons KAFD is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Project Manager to join our team!

In this role, you will join a leading professional engineering, construction, and cost management team working on multiple projects in the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD). KAFD is a master plan development positioned to become Riyadhs new Central Business District that combines a mixture of world-class commercial offices, hotels, retail spaces, and contemporary residences in addition to smart city solutions that redefine urban living.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Determines budget estimates and staffing requirements for the defined scope and schedule. Ensures subcontractors and major construction equipment services are available appropriately to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
• Establishes assignments for Construction Superintendents in various work areas of construction operations, monitors progress, and recommends corrective action as necessary. Conducts performance evaluations and recommends promotions and salary actions.
• Manages the assignment of manpower, materials, and equipment to maximize efficiency, maintain schedules, and meet budget goals. Keeps alert to possible problem areas and takes preventative action to ensure that critical milestones are met for each project phase.
• Ensures the use of sound construction practices to attain required quality control at the maximum efficiency and minimum cost.
• Prepares periodic reports summarizing the progress of construction activities for higher-level management and clients.
• Ensures effective implementation of all Company and client policies and procedures, including labor relations policies.
• Serves as the primary contact with client representatives, subcontractors, and government representatives for construction-related activities. Maintains strong client and community relations.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills Youll Bring:

• Bachelors Degree in construction-related field (or equivalent construction-related work experience), and typically 15+ years of experience in field construction is required.
• Experience in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations is preferred.

What Desired Skills Youll Bring:

• Requires a comprehensive knowledge of construction-related processes and a thorough knowledge of industry practices.
• Proven leadership and management capability is also required, as well as good written and oral communication skills.
