Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced MS-Exchange and Active Directory Expert to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining the customers systems infrastructure, with a specific focus on messaging and directory services. This role requires hands-on expertise in managing large-scale Exchange environments and proficiency in Active Directory-related operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support large-scale Microsoft Exchange environments, including MS Active Sync for mobile devices.
• Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, including user/group policies and access controls.
• Monitor and manage Exchange message queues, resolve non-deliveries, and track message flow to ensure delivery.
• Oversee mailbox quotas and space utilization, including resolving issues related to stuck or delayed emails.
• Manage file-sharing permissions in line with organizational policies and security best practices.
• Continuously monitor system health, including disk space, software versions, and operating system components.
• Perform software upgrades, patches, and hotfix deployments on MS-Exchange environments.
• Administer spam and antivirus filtering, IIS, and clustering services integrated with Exchange.
• Maintain detailed operational logs, document issues, and escalate recurring problems through proper channels.
• Participate in change management, incident correlation, and problem management activities.
• Stay current with developments, best practices, and trends in MS-Exchange and directory services.

Requirements:

• Advanced certifications such as MCSE or MCITP in Messaging/Exchange (mandatory).
• Proven experience in administration and support of Microsoft Exchange (on-premise and hybrid) and Active Directory environments.
• Hands-on experience with message tracking, Exchange troubleshooting, and mailbox management.
• Strong understanding of Exchange system architecture, including clustering, replication, and disaster recovery.
• Familiarity with Exchange Online (Office 365), hybrid configurations, and migration tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver under pressure.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
