A Snapshot of Your Day

The Strategy leader demonstrates accountability for supporting the Middle East & Africa Hub in analyzing and assessing the market dynamics and support with strategic initiatives. The position holder will be responsible to conduct market research and provide internal stakeholders support for key strategic initiatives. This role will have ownership and accountability for strategic assessments and support the Head of Strategy in developing develop specific in-country strategic plans in line with SE business goals and objectives.

How Youll Make an Impact

• Direct market research and analytics to identify opportunities, customer needs, and market sizing, while developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of trends and requirements in the energy market.
• Support the Market Evaluation Process (MEP) to ensure alignment between the Hub and Business Areas.
• Contribute to the MEA Strategy Plan, including the Siemens Energy Strategy Regional process.
• Lead the development and implementation of in-country strategies to drive growth and create actionable roadmaps.
• Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and investments to support sustainable growth.
• Facilitate and lead cross-Business Areas strategic initiatives, deliver management reviews for executive visits, and support special or one-off projects as needed.

What You Bring

• Bachelors degree in marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, with a Masters degree preferred.
• Over 2 years of experience in a top-tier management consulting firm or Big 4 audit firm, with more than 5 years in a strategy and marketing role.
• Strong analytical skills and a demonstrated understanding of the energy market, along with command of marketing tools and techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and strong project management abilities to lead cross-functional teams and mobilize stakeholders.
• Assertive with strong influencing skills, confidence, and the ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills, with knowledge of Siemens Energy solutions, products, and services, as well as an understanding of regional market dynamics and competitive environments across the Siemens Energy portfolio.
