Job Description: Restaurant Security Guard (Arabic Speaker Required)

Noir Cafe is a popular and busy restaurant committed to providing a safe and enjoyable dining experience for our guests and staff. We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard who is fluent in Arabic to ensure the security and well-being of our premises and patrons.

Job Summary: The Restaurant Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within and around the restaurant premises. This role involves monitoring the premises, patrolling designated areas, responding to security incidents, and providing assistance to guests and staff. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and observant individual with excellent communication skills in Arabic and a strong commitment to safety.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a visible presence to control the crowd
• Monitor and control parking lot activity and ensure proper parking procedures are followed.
• Provide assistance to guests and staff, including directions, information, and emergency support.
• Monitor the restaurant premises, including the dining area, kitchen, parking lot, and surrounding areas.
• Control access to the restaurant, ensuring only authorized personnel and guests are permitted entry.
• Resolve conflicts and de-escalate potentially volatile situations in a calm and professional manner.
• Enforce restaurant policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
• Prepare and maintain accurate incident reports and security logs.
• Ensure that all exits and emergency routes are clear and accessible.
• Communicate effectively with guests and staff in Arabic and English.

Qualifications:

• Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Proven experience as a Security Guard, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Strong observation and surveillance skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
