Job Responsibility:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of storekeepers to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage and maintain inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing materials.
• Inspect received materials for quality and quantity, and update records accordingly.
• Develop and implement efficient procedures for storage and retrieval of goods to maximize space utilization.
• Train and mentor storekeeping staff to ensure they adhere to safety and operational guidelines.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare reports on inventory turnover, discrepancies, and shortages.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material requests and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment to facilitate easy access to materials.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, with knowledge of storekeeping procedures and inventory control.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to inspect materials for quality and quantity.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Physical stamina to handle and move heavy items when necessary.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
