Store keeper

ASSAF Industry company is a leading provider in the metal fabrication industry. We are currently seeking a reliable and organized Store Keeper to manage our workshop inventory and ensure materials are properly tracked and issued to the production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming raw materials, tools, and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock cards/software.
• Issue materials to production as per job orders.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate reordering with procurement.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials, especially metals (sheets, rods, angles, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store/workshop area.
• Prepare and maintain stock reports (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality departments.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Store Keeper, preferably in the metal or manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP, MS Excel, etc.).
• Understanding of metal types, sizes, and material handling.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
• Physically fit and capable of handling warehouse work.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Additional certification in logistics or workshop management is a plus.
