Senior Operations Specialist

The Senior Operations Specialist plays a critical role in leading and coordinating daily logistics operations, ensuring seamless vehicle movement, resource allocation, and provider readiness. This mid-level role is focused on optimising processes, solving logistics bottlenecks, and guiding junior logistics or field ops team members. Youll act as the central link between field resources, internal ops, and dispatch teams, especially during peak hours.

• Oversee live service performance during the shift and ensure SLAs are met.
• Handle high-priority tasks, escalations, or provider issues.
• Coordinate across dispatch, fleet, and support teams for a smooth workflow.
• Mentor and guide junior Ops Specialists to improve speed and accuracy.
• Ensure shift performance data is tracked, summarised, and reviewed.
• Proactively flag process gaps or inefficiencies to the Ops Lead or Manager.
• Support training of new joiners and act as a process owner for key workflows.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in operations, dispatching, or logistics.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end operational processes.
• Fluent in Arabic; professional-level English required.
• Proficient in Excel/Sheets and operational tracking tools.
• Confident decision-maker with people leadership potential.
• Strong coordination and cross-functional communication skills.
