Lead Architectural Engineer

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Lead Architectural Engineer with 15+ years of professional experience to lead the architectural design and technical delivery of complex, large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Architectural Engineering and possess extensive knowledge in planning, designing, and executing high-profile developments, with a deep understanding of building systems, codes, and interdisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the conceptual and detailed architectural design process across all project stages—from feasibility to construction and handover.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight to the architectural engineering team and ensure alignment with client requirements, codes, and project goals.
• Review, validate, and approve architectural drawings, design reports, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (civil, structural, MEP) to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Oversee site implementation of architectural works and verify compliance with approved designs and materials.
• Ensure design quality control, adherence to local and international building codes, and best industry practices.
• Participate in design reviews, value engineering workshops, and technical meetings with stakeholders.
• Manage architectural aspects of project timelines, resource allocation, and design deliverables.
• Mentor and develop junior architects and engineers within the team.
Engage in sustainability, façade engineering, and innovative building technologies as part of the design leadership process.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in architectural design and engineering, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
• Strong portfolio of major projects (mixed-use, commercial, institutional, infrastructure, or urban developments).
• Expert knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction methodologies.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms, and Adobe Suite.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
• Strong communication and client-facing capabilities.
