Role Details

Managing Director - Automotive Retail; Jeddah, Kingdom of المملكة العربية السعودية; Full-time; SAR to per month plus bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Own the full P&L, including capital expenditure, stocking policy and the annual operating plan agreed with the board.
• Run the complete retail cycle across new, used, parts, service and F&I with departmental heads reporting to you.
• Hold and further develop the relationship with the brand principal covering volume commitments, margin programmes and standards audits.
• Build and develop the management team with succession identified for every direct report.
• Within your الأول three months, present and begin executing a three year operating plan approved by the board.

Where you will do it

You will report to the automotive board and will have the autonomy that comes with genuine P&L ownership and the scrutiny that accompanies it. The management layer beneath you is not yet at the standard the business needs, and building it is part of the job rather than a distraction from it.

What you will receive

• Base salary of SAR to per month, depending on the operation you are coming from.
• Annual bonus of four to six months salary against agreed targets.

What you will bring

• Current responsibility for a multi site passenger car dealership operation of comparable scale, at General Manager level or above, held within the region.
• Demonstrable ownership of a P&L, evidenced by what you changed and what it delivered.
• Command of both volume and premium retail economics, and the judgment that they are different businesses.
• Arabic language capability (or substantial current experience operating in the Gulf if you do not speak Arabic).
• A career showing depth rather than movement-roles held for years, not months, with no frequent transitions.
• Exposure to multi franchise groups, experience of a brand principal relationship under standards pressure, and familiarity with the Saudi regulatory environment as it stands today (useful, though not essential).
