The Project

This is an opportunity to work on one of the largest programmes in المملكة العربية السعودية. This unique project consists of major mixed-use development including sports facilities, entertainment and arts along with all associated infrastructure. Mace is one of the delivery partners requiring high calibre and experienced professionals to lead integrated teams throughout each phase of the project. The role is delivery-focused and will be responsible for overseeing all Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health (MEP) works, ensuring the successful execution of contractor activities, programme milestones, quality requirements, commercial objectives and operational readiness. The successful candidate will act as the primary interface between stakeholders, consultants, contractors and project teams to drive delivery excellence throughout the remaining project lifecycle.

You'll Be Responsible For
  • Lead and manage the delivery of all MEP works throughout construction, commissioning and handover.
  • Oversee contractor performance, ensuring compliance with contractual, programme, safety and quality requirements.
  • Monitor delivery progress and proactively manage risks, constraints and critical path activities.
  • Drive programme recovery and mitigation strategies where required.
  • Coordinate with construction, commercial, project controls, design and stakeholder teams to ensure integrated delivery.
  • Review contractor schedules, progress reports and recovery plans.
  • Manage site-based delivery activities and ensure effective coordination across multiple work fronts.
  • Chair progress meetings, technical workshops and package review meetings.
  • Ensure testing, commissioning and handover activities are planned and executed in accordance with project requirements.
  • Monitor and manage project risks, opportunities and change control processes.
  • Support commercial teams with the review of claims, variations and contractual matters.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with relevant codes, standards, specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular project reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Promote the highest standards of health, safety, quality and environmental performance.
You'll Need To Have
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience delivering complex building or infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrable experience managing large-scale MEP packages through the construction and delivery phases.
  • Experience managing main contractors, specialist subcontractors and multidisciplinary consultant teams.
  • Experience within a PMC, client-side, Delivery Partner or programme management environment is preferred.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills.
  • Professional accreditation such as PMP, MCIOB, CEng, PE or equivalent is desirable.
  • Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of المملكة العربية السعودية and have relevant work experience working on high-valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
