Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities


  • Follows all relevant Operations and Maintenance policies, processes, and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Operations and Maintenance to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
  • Monitors system performance and function after accomplishment of any recommended modification, maintenance task or significant events and special assignment.
  • Monitors all maintenance faults, malfunctions, defects, deferred defects, and other occurrences which could affect the continuing operations.
  • Analyses components durability and failure trends and prepare preventive maintenance plans or analyze process and requirements and prepare operation plans.
  • Provides technical guidance and coaching and support for technical or operation teams to ensure individuals are equipped with the necessary skills.
  • Monitors the operating conditions, identifying and responding appropriately to problems, allocating or escalating them as necessary and monitor and record their rectification.
  • Ensures compliances of operations under own supervision with the industry standards and requirements or regulating authorities.

Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in engineering.
  • 2 years of related experience.
