Persistence Recruitment, in partnership with Jawraa, a leading Saudi Digital Transformation company, is actively seeking a Network Cabling Consultant for Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Funds Sovereign Fund Culture and Tourism Destination Giga-Project. This landmark initiative is set to redefine cultural and tourism experiences through cutting-edge digital solutions.

Responsibilities:

Project Oversight:

  • Oversee and manage the planning, design, and implementation of network cabling infrastructure projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Technical Expertise:

  • Understand detailed network cabling infrastructure designs, including OSP, ISP, AC/DC power systems, and environmental controls.
  • Possess strong knowledge of structured cabling, backbone, fiber cable, handhole, manhole, UTP/STP, conduiting, etc.

Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Expertise in creating documentation related to structured cabling components and configurations.

Fiber Optics:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of fiber types, their applications, and physical characteristics.
  • Proficiency in using standard testing tools such as OSA, BERT, OTDR.

Project Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with project teams for large-scale cabling projects, especially those related to smart cities.
  • Ensure seamless integration of network cabling with other project components.

Leadership and Communication:

  • Provide strong leadership in guiding the team through complex cabling projects.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in network cabling with a focus on large-scale projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of network cabling standards and best practices.
  • Experience with smart city projects is highly desirable.
