Job Purpose: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Director to spearhead growth initiatives and drive business expansion in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of local market dynamics, industry trends, and regulatory environment, along with a proven track record of successfully identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities in the telecommunication infrastructure, electromechanical services, general constructions, data center infrastructure, OSP infrastructure, and facility management sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and government entities to maximize business development opportunities.
• Lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting and lead generation to proposal submission, negotiation, and contract closure.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and potential areas for business growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, finance, and legal, to develop customized solutions that meet client requirements.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and foster strategic partnerships.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on business development activities, pipeline status, and market insights.
• Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or strategic planning, preferably in the telecommunications or construction industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in a competitive market environment.
• Strong network of contacts within the telecommunication, construction, and facility management sectors in Saudi Arabia.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
