Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in operating CNC machines, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, and ensuring that all parts and components meet quality and safety standards. You will work in a fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient and accurate machine operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines to produce components for oil and gas manufacturing processes
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and machine specifications to ensure accuracy in production
  • Load and unload materials, adjust machine settings, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure parts are produced to exact specifications and quality standards
  • Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Perform regular machine calibration and make necessary adjustments to maintain precision and minimize errors
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during production to minimize downtime
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols and regulations
  • Document production activities and report on machine performance, output, and quality control data
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator, preferably in the oil and gas or manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machine operations, setups, and programming
  • Proven experience in using machines such as Turn-Mill, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machines
  • Familiarity with both Fanuc and Siemens-operated CNC controls
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
  • Proficient with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) and quality control processes
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products
  • Familiarity with machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of safety standards and the ability to maintain a safe work environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in CNC machine operation or related field
  • Experience with multiple CNC machine types (e.g., lathe, mill, etc.)
